Eligibility list

  • Your first mortgage is owned, guaranteed, or
    securitized by Freddie Mac or Fannie Mae.

  • FHA, VA, and RHS guaranteed mortgages are eligible
    also check agency guidelines.

  • You have not used the Home Affordable Modification
    program in the past.

  • If you are 31 days or more delinquent or either
    current or less than 31 days delinquent and in
    imminent default.

  • If you are currently in foreclosure, pending litigation
    involving the mortgage, or you are in bankruptcy.

  • If you currently have an arrangement with your lender
    you may still apply for this program.

  • Your monthly housing expense-to-income ratio is
    greater than 31 of your monthly income.
